There’s a few exceptions that I feel have specific sexualities or genders but in the end of the day, I’ll add it as a part of the whole to build them up. I prefer to simply say my Engines are all either bi or pan by default. I feel like there’s too much importance put on just one tiny aspect of a whole character nowadays. If there’s a character you reeeeaaaally want to see me do, be patient and chances are they’ll show up eventually. Maybe it helps xx Honestly my BIGGEST advice is to use references and experiment and sketch. Here’s a time lapse showing my usual process of drawing a torso, from a super messy shape sketch to a more refined one and to outlines. (I also have a style where I tend to draw males with slightly wider hips, which isn’t something other artists might do.) Here’s some sketches with coloured sections to try and help show the shapes I use to more or less put together a torso. But I find it easiest to have a reference, and don’t be afraid to have a messy sketch, you can always clean it up. So things I learned to do that help me might not work for you. I’m not the best person to ask because I’m self taught. Aight uh- my sketches usually look like this? I use shapes and guide lines in a really messy fashion to figure out where shit goes.
